The purpose of the present invention is to provide a manual bundling tool that is improved in such a manner that, by further refining a mechanism for applying plastic deformation to a tie positioned on a head so as to forcibly engage ties, the tie can be plastically deformed while being firmly supported, without the disadvantage of an extrusion force acting on the head dissipating, thereby enabling more reliable retention to be performed. Thus, the manual bundling tool is provided with: a tie holding part (g) that receives the head (5) so as to support the head; a tightening mechanism (a) that pulls a protruding tie section (4a) that protrudes through the head (5), which is supported by the tie holding part (g), toward the head (5); an anti-return mechanism (j) that stops a return movement of the protruding tie section (4a) wit respect to the head (5), which is supported by the tie holding part (g); and an extrusion mechanism (h) that forces a pass-through tie section (4c), which is positioned at the head (5), to be extruded while the head (5) is being supported by the tie holding part (g), so that a deformed section (4b) is engagingly inserted in an engagement hold (10) of a base tie section (4d) where the head (5) is held outside a range in advance. |
