CONDUCTIVE POLYMERIC MATERIALS, PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF

Polymeric materials, particularly in the form of films, sheets or coatings, having electrical conductivity e.g. suitable for static dispersion. Conductivity is conferred by dispersed carbon nanoparticles such as CNTs. Particular embodiments are materials or articles for use on spacecraft, made from temperature-resistant polymers such as aromatic polyimides. Embodiments include optical solar reflectors having a reflective backing. Conductivity may be supplemented by an additional network conductor material which may be printed onto or embedded in the film.
