<p>This electronic device is provided with an execution unit that executes a program, a display unit that displays information, and a display control unit that controls the display unit. The display control unit displays a first display screen, which contains information pertaining to the execution of a prescribed function, on the display unit when the electronic device is executing said prescribed function. When the prescribed function is being executed, the execution unit begins executing a widget for displaying the information contained in the first display screen on the display unit, and subsequently terminates the execution of the widget when the execution of the prescribed function has finished. When the display control unit displays a separate display screen to the first display screen on the display unit when the widget is being executed, the display control unit includes widget execution information, which includes at least some of the information on the first display screen, based on the execution of the widget, in an area of the separate display screen.</p> |
