The dowel has a slit dowel case (1) and an expand case (10) comprising a same shaft outer diameter, where the slit dowel case comprises an internal thread that is braced against the expand case. Slotted segments are expandable to flukes, and clamped against a perforated supporting wall at a rear side. The expand case comprises a toothed collar, which rests around a front side of a bore hole of the wall or a fitting unit to be fastened. The dowel- and expand cases consist of metallic material such as surgical or spring steel.
