<p>It is an object of the present invention to reduce the plate thickness of an armrest, reduce the weight of an armrest, more easily adapt an armrest to changes in frame design, and flexibly adapt an armrest to various aspects of production related, for example, to transportation costs. The armrest mechanism unit (10) comprises: a mounting bracket (11) provided with an upper stopper receiver (11a) and a lower stopper receiver (11b); a lock drum (12) having a displacement cam (12a) and return cam (12b) provided on an end surface; a lock spring (13) having a free end (13a) on one end and a fixed end (13b) on the other end; a base plate (14) equipped with an upper stopper protrusion (14a), a lower stopper protrusion (14b) and a unit joining piece (A) as well as provided with a standing cylindrical portion (14d); and a cover plate (15) having an inner cylindrical portion (15a) provided with a spring guide (15b) and a unit joining piece (15c). All functions related to armrest angle adjustment are completed inside this armrest angle adjusting unit (10).</p> |
