Disclosed are a cell selection method, and a terminal. The method comprises: a terminal obtaining a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) and a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) of a neighboring cell; measuring the CSI-RS and the CRS, obtaining the measurement results, and selecting a target cell of the terminal based on the measurement results. By applying embodiments of the present invention, during cell selection, a CRS reported by the neighboring cell and used for reflecting a control domain signal is measured, and a CSI-RS reported by the neighboring cell and used for reflecting a data domain signal also needs to be measured, so that signal quality of a signal that can be received by each neighboring cell can be measured accurately according to the measurement results of the CRS and the CSI-RS, and an accurate target cell can be selected for the terminal. |
