PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which retention of game balls in a retention device is determined as abnormality because an error is generated in the calculation of {(a launched ball control counter)-(a winning ball counter + an out ball counter)}, when the number of launched ball is determined to check generation of failure such as jamming of balls by comparing the number of launched balls with the number of winning balls and the number of out balls in a sealed type game machine.SOLUTION: A game machine is configured to detect game balls being retained in a retention device 100 and to make no determination of the number of launched balls in the case of game balls retained in the retention device 100. As a result, even if an error is generated in the calculation of {(a launched ball control counter)-(a winning ball counter + an out ball counter)} with retention of game balls in the retention device 100, accidental determination of abnormality can be prevented. |
