PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing game machines enabling reuse of game machine housing at a low cost.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing game machines according to present invention comprises: executing a coating removal process for a cabinet of a game machine housing having a coating film formed on a galvanized steel plate (S2); washing the cabinet, the coating film of which has been removed, with water (S3); rinsing the cabinet which has been washed with water (S4); and recoating the rinsed cabinet (S5). In the coating removal process (S2) according to the present invention, the coating film of the cabinet is removed using an alkalescent and non-methylene chloride paint stripper liquid and a galvanized film is left on the surface of the galvanized steel plate.
