The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for determining a location in a location tracking system and a recording method thereof and, particularly, to an apparatus and a method for reducing errors which occur when a location is determined by trilateration or triangulation and a recording method thereof. The method for determining a location in a location tracking system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps of: calculating distances from different location determination signal providing devices using signals transmitted from the different location determination signal providing devices; extracting sets of three location determination signal providing devices among the location determination signal providing devices; calculating, by each set, an external triangle which connects the location determination signal providing devices; calculating, by each set, contacts between concentric circles whose radii are distances from the location determination signal providing devices and the sides of the external triangle; calculating, by each set, an internal triangle which is formed by midpoints of two contacts of each side of the external triangle; calculating the centers of mass of the internal triangle calculated by each set; and determining the center of mass of a polygon formed by the centers of mass of the internal triangles of the sets as a location.
