PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for sealing a cardiac aperture defined in a cardiac tissue wall.SOLUTION: A device includes: an outer tube 10 defining an axially penetrating guide opening; an attaching device 15 provided with at least one spiral coil and extending from a distal end of the outer tube, at least a part of which is disposed substantially between a first surface 855 and a second surface 853 of a cardiac tissue wall 850 and configured to advance partially in the cardiac tissue wall to bring a substantially liquid-tight seal to the cardiac tissue wall; and an element to be guided through the guide opening to define the cardiac aperture.
