PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reliably prevent degradation of pressure detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: A glow plug 1 includes a main fitting 2, a heater member 4, a center shaft 3, a movable member 14 and a pressure sensor 5. The heater member 4 has a cylindrical tube 8, and a heating element 9 disposed on an inner periphery of the tube 8, having its tip at a tip side with respect to a tip of the main fitting 2, and generating heat by power supply. A tip portion of the center shaft 3 has a connecting portion 3A connected with a rear end portion of the heating element 9. An annular clearance gap CR is formed between the main fitting 2 and the heater member 4 at a tip side with respect to a joining portion 14A to be joined to the heater member 4, of the movable member 14. At least a part of a region positioned at the tip side with respect to the tip of the connecting portion 3A, of the heating element 9 is positioned at an inner peripheral side of the clearance gap CR, and the tip of the connecting portion 3A is positioned at a tip side with respect to a tip of the joining portion 14A. |
