PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of using electric power generated by solar panels for artificial light and solar light and detecting a state where light degradation occurs in the solar panel for the artificial light.SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a battery pack which includes a body solar panel which is provided on an outer surface of a body housing and coverts solar light into electric power and a battery solar panel which converts artificial light into electric power and is housed in the body housing so as to be taken out therefrom; a battery lid which is attached to the body housing so as to open and close, the battery lid which exposes the battery solar panel in an opened state and shields light for the battery solar panel in a closed state; an opening/closing detection part that detects the opening/closing state of the battery lid; a power generation amount detection part which detects a power generation amount of the body solar panel; and a degradation determination part 103 which determines whether or not light degradation occurs in the battery solar panel on the basis of the opening/closing state and the power generation amount. |
