PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system capable of imaging a lateral side of the optical system at a wide angle without being affected by chromatic aberration.SOLUTION: An optical system not including a lens comprises: a hyperboloidal mirror 101 having the shape of at least a part of a rotationally symmetric convex surface having a focal point; and an opening member 102 restricting reflected light of the hyperboloidal mirror 101 to reflected light of light traveling to the focal point of the hyperboloidal mirror 101 and guiding the reflected light of the hyperboloidal mirror 101 having the restricted traveling direction to an image sensor 104 without passing through the lens. |
