A locating method and device. The locating method comprises: after receiving an access request of a node being detected, an anchor node sending to the node being detected synchronization information, the synchronization information comprising time information for instructing the node being deleted to transmit a signal; the node being deleted transmitting the signal to the anchor node according to the time information; and the anchor node detecting the intensity of the signal transmitted by the node being deleted, and conducting locating processing. In the solution of the embodiments of the present invention, the capacity of a node being deleted in a short-range locating system can be increased, and the scanning efficiency of the node being deleted can be improved. |
