<p>Provided is a torque control device for driving a torque control shaft in synchronization with a main control shaft while adding a prescribed pressing force by way of the torque control shaft to a workpiece driven by way of the main control shaft, wherein position shifting can be suppressed even when the main control shaft is moved. The driving torque necessary to follow the driving of the main control shaft so that the pressing force is large can be calculated by storing the maximum and minimum values for a mechanical parameter representing a mechanical property of the driving unit being driven by the torque control shaft and selecting one of the maximum and minimum values for the mechanical parameter stored in the storage means in accordance with the driving status of the main control shaft.</p> |
