Disclosed is an indoor unit of an air conditioner, wherein the indoor unit has the improved structure of a discharge air flow path allowing cold air to uniformly reach all indoor areas. The indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: a housing including a front panel and a rear panel coupled to the rear side thereof; at least one outlet exposed to the front side of the front panel; a mixed flow fan placed at the rear side of the outlet and discharging air to the outlet; a discharge guiding part formed to protrude along the periphery of the outlet and between the outlet and the front side of the front panel in order to guide the air discharged from the outlet forwards.
