PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene by using a raw material that is available in industrial scale or is a substance that can relatively easily be produced from a raw material that is available in industrial scale.SOLUTION: Provided is the method for producing 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene by the gas-phase dehydrofluorination of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane in the presence of a catalyst, wherein the reaction is carried out at a reaction system pressure of 0.001-90 kPa (absolute pressure), and a reaction temperature in the range of 250-600°C. |
