PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive spun-dyed protein fiber which has a spin-dyeing pigment dispersed evenly in the fiber, and can develop a bright color tone.SOLUTION: A spun-dyed protein fiber is a protein comprising at least one selected from silk fibroin and spider thread protein, and, with respect to 100 mass% of the protein fiber, a content of the silk fibroin is 0 to 100 mass% and a content of a polypeptide derived from the spider thread protein is 100 to 0 mass%. The spun-dyed protein fiber contains a spin-dyeing pigment, and the spin-dyeing pigment is at least one spin-dyeing pigment selected from acid dyes, basic dyes, fluorescent dyes, direct dyes, disperse dyes, plant pigments, natural pigment for food products, and carbon black. |
