摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module having a configuration benefiting from the respective advantages of both EVA and polyethylene used as a sealing material layer.SOLUTION: A solar battery module includes a solar battery element, a first sealing material sheet disposed on the light-receiving surface side of the solar battery element, and a second sealing material sheet disposed on the rear surface side of the solar battery element, the first sealing material sheet being an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, and the second sealing material sheet being a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.900 g/cmor less. A method for manufacturing the solar battery module includes: a crosslinking step of subjecting a non-crosslinked sealing material sheet including a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.900 g/cmor less to crosslinking treatment with irradiation of ionizing radiation to form the crosslinked second sealing material sheet; and a thermal compression molding step of sequentially laminating a member including the solar battery element, the first sealing material sheet and the second sealing material sheet to be integrated.
