PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating tool having excellent workability, a low-noise and low-vibration.SOLUTION: A reciprocating tool 1 comprises: a brushless motor 3; a plunger 52 being driven by the brushless motor 3 and reciprocating between a lower dead point and an upper dead point in which a tip tool 7 is attached to an end portion on a lower dead point side in a reciprocating direction; and control means for controlling rotation speed or a rotation angle of the brushless motor 3 on the basis of a position of the plunger 52. When the plunger 52 approaches the vicinity of the upper dead point or the lower dead point, control for decreasing the rotation speed of the brushless motor 3 is performed by the control means. |
