PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite machine 100 which, even if a document includes a handwritten memorandum, is capable of acquiring an image of the document without the handwritten memorandum.SOLUTION: The composite machine 100 comprises: display and reception means 401 which displays a key for deleting handwritten image data included in image data, in a selectable manner and receives selection of the key from a user; character detection means 404 which, when the key is selected, detects character data constituting characters, from in the image data; font character extraction means 406 which extracts font character data representing characters of a previously stored font, from in the detected character data; and character image generation means 408 which generates character image data obtained by leaving the extracted font character data and deleting the other data from the image data. |
