<p>A medical image diagnosis device of an embodiment is provided with a lumen image generation unit (161b), a travel line generation unit (161a), an image synthesis unit (162), and a control unit (18). The lumen image generation unit (161b) generates a lumen image which is based on volume data that is three-dimensional medical image data and in which the shape of a lumen having branches is drawn. The travel line generation unit (161a) generates a plurality of travel lines on the basis of the shape of the lumen having the branches. An image synthesis unit (162) generates a synthetic image in which the plurality of travel lines indicating the movement paths of a viewpoint in a virtual endoscopic image of the lumen having the branches are superimposed on the lumen image. The control unit (18) displays the synthetic image on a predetermined display unit (2). The control unit (18) controls the image synthesis unit (162) such that the image synthesis unit performs drawing that enables a distinction between a travel line range in which the virtual endoscopic image is displayed and a travel line range in which the virtual endoscopic image is not displayed.</p> |
