<p>Provided is an antimicrobial non-isotactic polymer based hard or semi- flexible surface in a thermoset and/or thermoplastic resin matrix wherein the active antimicrobial ingredient is copper oxide. Processes for preparing the same and applications thereof are also described.</p>
