The lower noise protection wall (1) is composed of individual superimposed noise barrier elements (2) that constitute a monolithic wall. Movable sound absorbing elements (3) are extended from noise barrier elements, and located towards railway track for absorbing noise. The sound absorbing elements are partly located within clearance gauge (6). An independent claim is included for a method for enhancement of noise protection by low noise protection wall.
