System for stabilizing railway vehicles in poor suspension conditions, for ensuring, when a vehicle is travelling in poor suspension conditions, stability between a bogie (1) and the housing (3) of a railway vehicle, between which are arranged yaw dampers (5) that are actuated by solenoid valves (6) to switch between a mode of operation characterized by greater damping force and a mode of operation characterized by lesser damping force, with the inclusion of detection means (7) that warn when there is poor suspension, sending a fault signal to control equipment (9) which commands the solenoid valves (6) to switch said yaw dampers (5) into the mode of operation most appropriate for travelling in such conditions.
