PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible display device and a control method which enable a bending to be efficiently used even without background knowledge of a type of bending and an operation corresponding thereto.SOLUTION: A flexible apparatus 100 includes a sensor 110 which senses a bending that deforms the shape of the flexible apparatus 100, and a controller 120 which performs a controlling operation corresponding to the bending, when a preset bending is sensed. The controller 120 adds and provides a bending interaction guide for a bending set for each of objects that are displayed on a screen. Thereby, a type of bending is easily grasped.
