BATTERY PACK INSPECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect battery capacity of a battery pack in a short time.SOLUTION: An inspection apparatus 10 measures an average cell voltage during charging/discharging a battery pack 20 to be inspected, estimates full charge capacity of the battery pack from an average cell voltage value and a battery capacity characteristics curve, and determines success/failure according to the full charge capacity. The inspection apparatus 10 measures voltage variations of battery cells 202 in the battery pack 20 having succeeded in capacity determination, and determines success when the variation is equal to or lower than a predetermined determination line. The determination line for the inspection can be changed according to a temperature environment where the inspection is implemented.
