PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of creating a virtual character on the basis of an image photographed by a user, combining the virtual character with the image in a real space, and displaying a resulting composite image, so as to provide a high extended reality sense.SOLUTION: An image processing method includes the steps of: identifying an area complying with predetermined conditions from video data captured by an imaging device as a target area; generating target image data in a predetermined format on the basis of the video data of the target area; combining the target image data with the video data captured by the imaging device; and outputting video data after the combining. |
