Provided is a tilt steering column device having a structure for suppressing an increase in the operational force for an adjustment lever (24a), even when a steering wheel (1) is positioned at the peak of the adjustable range thereof, in a structure having a displacement bracket (16a) positioned on the top-side of the steering column (6a). A wide part (33), which has a larger width dimension than that of the upper half of a pressing member (29) or an anchor part (25) in the front-rear direction thereof, is positioned in the upper-end section of at least a long hole (17a) among a pair of long holes (17a, 17b) provided in support-plate sections (15b, 15c). |
