[Problem] To provide a 5-trifluoromethyl-4-trifluoromethylsulfonyl-2-isoxazoline derivative, and a method for producing same. [Solution] A product in which a trifluoromethyl anion is added to the fifth position of a 4-trifluoromethylsulfonyl-2-isoxazole is obtained by using a (trifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane as the trifluoromethylation reagent, and a 4-trifluoromethylsulfonyl isoxazole having a trifluoromethylsulfonyl group at the fourth position as the reactive substrate. Moreover, halogen can be introduced to the fourth position of the 5-trifluoromethyl-4-trifluoromethylsulfonyl-2-isoxazoline derivative thus obtained.
