The latching sleeve (1) has a cylindrical base body (3) and a latching contour (5) for engagement of a latching element, where the latching contour is manufactured in one piece with the base body. The latching contour has a connecting rod (7) that is formed as a slot in the circumference of the base body. The edges (11) of the slot are rounded. The connecting rod is limited in the axial direction on both sides by a bar (13). The latching contour has another connecting rod that is formed with a radially extending cam (17), where the latter connecting rod is embossed into the base body.
