PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-viscosity pigment dispersion for a color filter capable of providing a color composition without producing a sticking substance during film formation because of excellent re-solubility in a solvent after drying, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There are provided [1] a pigment dispersion for a color filter including: a pigment dispersant (A) which has a constitutional unit derived from an amino group-containing monomer (A-1) and a constitutional unit derived from an alkoxy polyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate (A-2), where the polyalkylene glycol moiety of (A-2) is a mixed adduct of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide; an organic pigment; a copolymer (B) of an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 1-3C alkyl group (B-1) and (meth)acrylic acid (B-2); and an ether-based organic solvent, and [2] a method for producing the same. |
