PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively recover energy generated by speed reduction of a vehicle without making drivability worse.SOLUTION: With deceleration of a vehicle, a pedal sensor is turned OFF and an electromagnetic clutch of a power transmission system for electricity generator is powered ON or OFF and an electricity generation start signal is sent to the electricity generator after the electromagnetic clutch is completely connected. When engine speed is high, electricity generation start timing T2 after the electromagnetic clutch is instructed to be connected is set to be long and when the engine speed is low, electricity generation start timing T1 after the electromagnetic clutch is instructed to be connected is set to be short. Electricity generation starts after the clutch is completely connected, so that a shock is relaxed and superior drivability is obtained. The electricity generation starts at the same time with the complete connection of the clutch even at different engine speed, so that energy generated by speed reduction of the vehicle can be effectively recovered. |
