PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cancer-associated antigen that can be used in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer.SOLUTION: A host cell, a binding protein, and an immuno-conjugate contain amino acid and nucleic acid sequence of the novel antigen containing a cancer-related variant of Mammalian Scratch expressed on the surface of a cancer cell, and a recombinant expression vector. The invention also relates to a method of detecting the cancer cell or monitoring cancer in a subject having or suspected of having cancer, and a therapeutic method and kit. Further, the invention relates to an isolated protein or a fragment thereof having an effect, the recombinant expression vector, and a pharmaceutical composition containing such as an isolated nucleic acid sequence. |
