PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling returning to a state of quickly update-displaying a GPS position while preventing update-displaying of a less accurate GPS position.SOLUTION: A navigation system includes: position acquisition means for acquiring a GPS position that is a current position of a vehicle on the basis of a vehicle GPS signal; and display control means for update-displaying the GPS position on a display part. Further, in a case where the vehicle travels a blocking space in which the GPS signal is blocked, the display control means executes a blocking mode to update-display the GPS position under a condition that an acquisition state of the GPS position satisfies a predetermined display reference, or inhibits execution of the blocking mode in a case where the vehicle travels outside the blocking space and in a case where the vehicle travels a branching point in the blocking space. |
