PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flight device capable of stably flying by reducing a swing of a body shaft, while flapping a plurality of pairs of blade bodies like a dragonfly.SOLUTION: The flapping flight device comprises: a support main body including a first support shaft and a second support shaft provided above the first support shaft; a flapping wing including blade bodies each composed of an elastic shaft member and a thin film blade part, in which a plurality of pairs of right and left blade bodies are vertically swingably supported by the support main body, a pair of front side blade bodies and a pair of rear side blade bodies are attached to the support main body with a step provided therebetween by attaching the pair of front side blade bodies of the support main body on the second support shaft and attaching the pair of rear side blade bodies on the first support shaft; driving means for vertically rocking the respective blade bodies; and a tail assembly installed in the rear side end part vicinity of the support main body and composed of a horizontal tail assembly and a vertical tail assembly. The ratio of the whole weight of the flapping flight device and the gross area of the respective blade bodies is 0.357 m/N or less, and the area of the horizontal tail assembly is 18 cmor more, and the area of the vertical tail assembly is 3 cmor more. |
