APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING MOLTEN SALT LEVEL OF REACTOR USED IN PYROPROCESSING

The present invention relates to a device and method for sequentially measuring the height of a fused salt layer within a fused salt reactor used for a pyroprocess and more specifically, to a fused salt layer measuring device and a fused salt layer measuring method which sequentially measures water level changes in a fused salt layer during a process of a reactor by measuring a pressure value within the fused salt layer. The present invention measures the height of the fused salt layer existing in the reactor (electrolytic reduction, refining and smelting reactor) used for a pyroprocess by sequentially measuring a fused salt layer temperature and a pressure change value within the fused salt layer only. Therefore, the present invention provides the device and method capable of sequentially measuring the height of the fused salt layer not only during the process but also before and after the beginning of the process.
