PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle plate which has a discharge port shape capable of high quality printing, and in which variations in an opening area of the discharge port is small, and an opening shape is stable, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same, an ink jet head provided with the nozzle plate, and an ink jet printer.SOLUTION: A nozzle plate is provided with nozzle holes penetrating in a thickness direction, and the nozzle holes have a discharge port approximately satisfying a relation of R1=R2≥R3=R4≒0 where R1-R4 are curvature factors of four corners in an opening shape. |
