PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detecting device capable of suppressing the generation of major thermal stress on a sensor housing, and a steering device including the same.SOLUTION: A torque detecting device includes: an annular magnetism collection unit 50 having a magnetism collection holder 70 formed in an annular shape by resin molding, a first magnetism collection ring 51 installed on an inner peripheral surface 70X of the magnetism collection holder 70 and a magnetic shield 60 formed by folding a metal plate and installed on an outer peripheral surface 70Y of the magnetism collection holder 70; and a sensor housing 80 formed integrally with the magnetism collection unit 50 by resin poured in the outer peripheral side of the magnetism collection unit 50. The sensor housing 80 includes an inner surface 81C which does not come into contact with a corner part 61C formed by an outside surface 61B and an end surface 61A of a first shield end part 61 of the magnetic shield 60. |
