摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of suppressing intrusion of abnormal noise into a cabin.SOLUTION: A refrigerant inlet 12 is formed on one end of a header portion 7 at a leeward side of the evaporator. A refrigerant trap 30 for accumulating a liquid-phase refrigerant, is disposed on a refrigerant introduction path 27 for feeding a refrigerant to the refrigerant inlet 12 of the header portion 7 at the leeward side. The refrigerant trap 30 includes a refrigerant descending path 31 for allowing the refrigerant to flow downward from above, a refrigerant ascending path 32 disposed at a downstream side of the refrigerant descending path 31 and allowing the refrigerant to flow upward from below, a communicating portion 33 for communicating a lower end portion of the refrigerant descending path 31 with a lower end portion of the refrigerant ascending path 32, and a weir portion 34 disposed on an upper end of the refrigerant ascending path 32. A refrigerant accumulating portion 40 is disposed extending over a lower portion of the refrigerant descending path 31 and a lower portion of the refrigerant ascending path 32. The refrigerant inlet 12 is formed at an upper part with respect to an upper end of the weir portion 34.
