PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run with a simple structure, having flexibility to be expandable and compressible in the inward and outward directions in a width direction of a vehicle, and capable of holding the end part of a door glass sandwiched therein to prevent the door glass from vibrating while traveling when the door glass is closed.SOLUTION: A glass run comprises a glass run body 23 which is constituted with a spring body made of rigid resin such as nylon, the whole body having a substantially W-shaped cross section, and which includes a holding part 22 and engagement wall parts 22b and 22c. The holding part 22 forms a groove with a substantially inverted V-shaped cross section by connecting a pair of leg parts 22a in substantially chevron shapes; and the engagement wall part 22b on the interior of a vehicle and the engaging wall part 22c on the exterior of the vehicle are respectively folded outward of the holding part 22 from the ends of leg parts 22a constituting the holding part 22. When fitting the glass run in a glass run fitting part 14 of a sash 4, the width of the glass run body 23 is compressed by pushing into both engagement wall parts 22b and 22c from both sides to push the glass run body 23 into the glass run engagement part 14. |
