PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring component which has an optical connector and an optical waveguide accurately positioned, and a method of efficiently manufacturing the optical wiring component.SOLUTION: An optical wiring component 2 includes an optical connector 5 having a housing part 52, a layered optical waveguide 3 having one end inserted into the housing part 52, and an adhesive which bonds the optical connector 5 and the optical waveguide 3 together. Two main surfaces of the optical waveguide 3 are in slide contact with an inner surface of the housing part 52 respectively, and consequently, the position of the optical waveguide 3 in a Z direction can be adjusted. Further, the optical connector 5 has two through holes (position recognition mark) 57 penetrating a lid body 51. The position of the optical waveguide 3 in an X direction can be adjusted by adjusting the position of the optical waveguide 3 so that the through holes 57 and the optical waveguide 3 satisfy predetermined position relation. |
