PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure shock absorber capable of restraining increase of costs.SOLUTION: A rebound stopper mechanism 70 comprises: a base spring receiver 71 integrally movably provided to a piston rod 15; a movable spring receiver 72 that is slidably provided to the piston rod 15 and can contact a stopper 21 fixed to a cylinder 19; and spring means 73 interposed between the base spring receiver 71 and the movable spring receiver 72. A base spring receiver extension part 76 and a movable spring receiver extension part 81 extending in an axial direction between the spring means 73 and the piston rod 15 and restraining contact of the spring means 73 to the piston rod 15 are provided to the base spring receiver 71 and the movable spring receiver 72. While the spring means 73 is most shrunk, the base spring receiver extension part 76 and the movable spring receiver extension part 81 have such length that they are not in contact with each other. |
