PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device of an IPS type suitable for a segment display type, capable of easily arranging electrodes and drawing wirings on the same surface.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device including a display for displaying a regular character or pattern comprises: a liquid crystal layer 17; a first substrate 11 and a second substrate 12 arranged to be opposite through the liquid crystal layer; a plurality of first electrodes 13 provided on one surface side of the first substrate; a plurality of second electrodes 14 provided on the one surface side of the first substrate; a plurality of first drawing wirings 23 provided on the one surface side of the first substrate and connected with any of the plurality of first electrodes; a plurality of second drawing wirings 24 provided on the one surface side of the first substrate and connected with any of the plurality of second electrodes; a jumper wiring 28 provided on one surface side of the second substrate and superimposed on each a part of two or more second drawing wirings out of the plurality of second drawing wirings; and a conductive material 29 intervening between each the part of two or more second drawing wirings and the jumper wiring, between the first substrate and the second substrate. |
