PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote operation system capable of reducing a leak current flowing through a switch and suppressing power consumption to a low level.SOLUTION: There is provided a remote operation system comprising a portable information terminal, a server, and an electric device. The remote operation system controls on/off states of a switch included in the electric device on the basis of information transmitted from the portable information terminal to the server. A transistor including a semiconductor having a band gap wider than that of a monocrystalline silicon is used in a channel formation region as the switch. |
