AUTHENTICITY DETERMINATION SYSTEM USING HOLOGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticity determination system using a hologram in which security is improved compared to the prior arts.SOLUTION: A first hologram 2 is a transmissive hologram to induce interference with a data of a second hologram 3 upon determining authenticity of the second hologram 3; and the second hologram 3 is a reflective hologram and subjected to authenticity determination. Light (1) from a light source 4, which is not transmitted through the first hologram 2, is reflected by the second hologram 3; the reflected light (2) (3) used as reference light for the first hologram 2 is made to irradiate the first hologram 2; diffracted light (4) (5) transmitted through the first hologram 2 is captured by an imaging element 5; and authenticity of the second hologram 3 is determined.
