PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency in loading and unloading a reel which holds a plurality of components.SOLUTION: A component inventory management system includes: a reading section for reading reel information from a reel stored in a storage part of a storage shelf; a determination section for determining, upon detection of loading of the reel into the storage part, whether or not the loaded reel is loaded into a normal storage part, on the basis of the reel information read by the reading section; a loading time inventory updating section for updating a total value of components held in one or multiple reels held in the storage part, when the determination section determines that the reel is loaded into the normal storage part; and an unloading time inventory updating section for updating the total value of components held in the one or multiple reels held in the storage part, when detecting that the reel is unloaded from the storage part. |
