PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an operating frequency of an internal combustion engine for air conditioning during an EV drive mode.SOLUTION: A vehicle air conditioner includes a heating heat exchanger 36 heating the air blown into a vehicle cabin by making heat exchange between the blown air and a heat medium; request-signal output means 50d outputting a request signal for a request to actuate heat-medium heating means EG heating the heat medium to control means 70 controlling the heat medium heating means EG if a temperature of the heat medium is below a lower limit temperature Twon; and lower-limit-temperature determination means S11 for determining the lower-limit temperature Twon. The lower-limit-temperature determination means S11 determines a first provisional value fTAO of the lower-limit temperature Twon on the basis of air-conditioning thermal load TAO, determines a second provisional value of the lower-limit temperature Twon on the basis of an internal cabin humidity, selects the first provisional value fTAO as the lower-limit temperature Twon in a case of an HV drive mode, and selects a smaller value of the first and second provisional values as the lower-limit temperature Twon. |
