PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control system or an elevator control method that determines an abnormal state that a car is stopped and doors remain closed irrespective of a passenger or a baggage on board in a car of an elevator and gives a person an opportunity to look at an inside of a cage of the car.SOLUTION: A controller of an elevator control system determines status of an inside of a cage of a car to be abnormal and opens a car door when the car is stopped at any landing floor during normal mode operation of an elevator, the car door is closed, a load value inside the cage of the car after the car door is finally closed exceeds a predetermined value, close duration time of the car door counted from time when the car door is finally closed at any landing floor as a starting point exceeds a predetermined value and a car calling signal is not received. |
