Provided are a method, base station, and user equipment for transmitting/receiving hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) messages. Specifically, the method for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) messages comprises the following steps: converting the time division duplex (TDD) uplink and downlink configuration scheme from a first scheme, which corresponds to a first HARQ timing, to a second scheme, which corresponds to a second HARQ timing; determining the HARQ message, which corresponds to the data in the downlink sub-frame based on the first scheme, to be transmitted in a sub-frame based on the second scheme; selecting the sub-frame to be used for the transmission of the HARQ message on the basis of the first and the second HARQ timings, such that the selected sub-frame conforms to the second scheme.
